Team Adventure
Compaq Wicklow Challenge 2001 75 KM, up and down mountains in 3 days

From Friday the 14th to Sunday the 16th of September, 2001, several hundred dedicated hillwalkers will cross the Wicklow Way in order to raise money for Fighting Blindness and DEBRA Ireland (a charity that assists children suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa). We are four of the best who'll be on for the long hike: Team Adventure!

The good thing about this Wicklow Challenge is that 100% of donations go straight to the charities. All the food, camping and administration costs for the three days have already been covered by the £200 registration fee. Each team has the goal of raising £3500. We're planning a series of fund-raising events and raffles to meet our share....

Event # 1: Bike Raffle!

A huge Thanks! to everyone who lent their support!!! This event raised £461.00 for the cause. Our lucky winner was Tom Mullins, of Sage.

The bike we raffled!

The bike was supplied by Stagg Cycles of Lucan, Co. Dublin- Team Adventure's favorite bike shop!

Event # 2 Coming Soon!
